BELLE THERMOSET PLASTICS ONLINE TRAINING

This course is intended for certified lash stylists or nail technicians. The course consists of several parts; participants will review information in each chapter and answer control questions. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a training certificate valid for 5 years. The training takes approximately 50 minutes.

The course includes:

• Basic knowledge of chemical risks

• Knowledge of the chemical products handled

• Review of handling steps that may be risky

• What happens during processing and thermal degradation

• Necessary protective measures for safe work

• The type of ventilation required

• Situations requiring personal protective equipment and appropriate types of protective equipment

• Cleaning and decontamination techniques

• Information on hazardous chemical products

Background:

As of June 1, 2015, new stricter regulations regarding chemical work environment risks apply. This means that anyone handling allergenic chemical products must undergo new training. If an employee cannot present a valid training certificate, this can result in a fine of SEK 10,000 per employee for the employer. If you work more than 30 minutes per week, training with a training certificate is required (Section 37e) according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

Course Objectives:

The course provides the statutory training in handling thermosetting plastics and allergenic chemical products, risk assessment, health risks, and protective measures according to Section 37 of AFS 2014:43, which was introduced in July 2015, "Special requirements for allergenic chemical products and certain processes." If the business, for example, does not comply with Section 37e or Section 37g, sanction fees may apply.
